Vintage French cromolithograph (color lithograph) featuring an exquisite illustration of an ornate, cobalt blue and white porcelain Sèvres or Meissen-style vase or urn. This appears to be a vintage (mid to late 20th century) print after the original work of Jules Jacquemart (1837–1880), one of the most celebrated printmakers of the 19th-century etching revival, renowned for the incredible detail and precision of his work in illustrating museum-quality decorative arts, particularly Sèvres porcelain and fine jewels.
Original was printed by Imprimerie Délâtre in Paris, master printer whose shop was a major hub for modern French artists.
The print was professionally framed and matted, featuring a decorative, marbled paper inner mat that complements the blue and gold tones of the illustration.
