Outstanding Robert Abbey floor lamp in a chrome or "antique silver" finish. Original shade is marked as well as stamped on the socket. Dimmer switch, diffuser panel on the shade. Nicely made and a classic design, this is direct from a local downsizing, works perfectly and still looks great.
48 1/4" tall, socket is 42 1/2" high, base is 9" wide and 9 1/4" deep.
Very good condition, clean appearance overall, working and ready to enjoy. The metal finish is quite nice, clean and even, edges are generally smooth. Very modest signs of age or patina but free of large scratches, pitting or tarnishing. A few small scuffs and surface marks on the base. Structurally solid, stands straight, no bends, no dents, no cracks, no repairs. Switch, socket and cord work fine. Shade is quite good as well, no damage, no staining on the linen, mild yellowing on the inside only. See photos for the best description and send any questions you might have.
