The designer and brand that produced it in the mid-20th century are unknown to us, but its style recalls the elegant homewares designed for Dior Home or those made in Italy by Tommaso Barbi.

Highly decorative, this vintage table lamp mixes Hollywood Recency with the use of gleaming gilded brass and Chinese Chippendale Style with its oriental-inspired shape and the use of cane webbing enclosed between glass panes that recall an Oriental Lantern. The lamp is functional and in good vintage condition with its original electrical system. The brass, left in its patina, shows minimal signs of oxidation. The glass panels have been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned.
