Special antique wedding chest from 1753, from southern Germany. This piece of furniture has been painted in an atmospheric and traditional style in a soft light blue color with floral motifs. This original 18th-century paint layer is weathered and worn, giving the chest an authentic and characteristic appearance. The chest is large in size, making it not only very impressive decoratively, but also offering ample storage space.
The chest has been thoroughly inspected and professionally restored, with an eye for originality and character. The construction is solid, the paintwork is largely intact, and the patina has been preserved. Old, sporadic traces of woodworm have been inspected and treated.
