Original X-Line chair from the 1970s, manufactured by Niels Jørgen Haugesen for Hybodan in Denmark. An example of the "high-tech" movement that emerged in Europe in the late 1970s, the "X-Line" chair is one of Haugesen's most iconic designs, with its functional style and sophisticated structural details. It won the Danish design award "ID Prisen" in 1987 and is currently part of the collections of the world's leading design museums. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
