A dramatic Murano glass table lamp designed by Toni Zuccheri for VeArt, consisting of a sphere with inward folds.
This is the transparent version, where the glass almost resembles a sheet of ice. VeArt was founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana, the latter of whom, in addition to being the founder of VeArt, was also the artistic director of Venini.
Toni Zuccheri was a designer, architect, and, above all, a glass artist. He worked with the greatest Murano glassmakers, from Venini to Barovier & Toso, and created glass sculptures both in Italy and abroad. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
