This stunning set of six ladder back teak chairs features two arm chairs and four side chairs in original upholstered seats. The arm chairs are beautifully proportioned and feature softly curved and carved arms that float gracefully down the side of the seat and seamlessly surround and terminate at the side rail. The chair backs feature a gently carved ladder back with a subtle bow-tie shape. The teak has mellowed into a warm patina. A tall and beautifully angled frame maintains comfort while showcasing a simple elegant form. The chairs are accentuated with a lovely warm wood grain and exceptional craftsmanship. This rare set of highly sought after chairs will be a wonderful addition to any modern home. Manufacturer’s stamp (Made in Denmark).
Condition Report: Construction is sturdy and stable; beautiful, clean, perfect, original upholstery in good condition, no tears, in great condition. Frames are tight and sturdy.
