Beautifully crafted in … Read more Rare set of five genuine "Block Island" cane rush dining chairs designed by John Hutton for Donghia. Beautifully crafted in the organic modern taste. Late 20th-century inspired design by Jean Michel Frank. The chairs feature a large mahogany high back frame embellished with woven cane or rush in a geometric block pattern. The iconic chairs are heavy with tightly woven cane rattan in a checkered block pattern. The chairs are elegant and sophisticated with a warm finish and island coastal aesthetic grounded in natural elements. Each chair is branded on the bottom by Donghia. Sold as a set of five.
