From Thibaut's Grasscloth Resource 6 collection, this paper-backed sisal is contract approved and ASTM E84 Class A fire rated, suiting residential and commercial interiors alike. It is sold by the double roll. Each factory double roll measures 36 inches by 8 yards and covers about 72 square feet, roughly 6 feet of wall width at ceilings up to 11 feet.

Four rolls are available: three from the same production run (T-25N) and one from a different run (Run 20). Thibaut advises matching dye lots before hanging, as grasscloth shading can vary between runs, so orders of one to three rolls will receive matching rolls from Run T-25N. An order of all four includes the Run 20 roll. If it is hung on the same wall as the T-25N rolls, it may show a visible shade shift, so it works best on its own, such as on an adjoining wall or in a closet or niche. Starting it at a corner keeps any difference least noticeable. The three T-25N rolls should be hung together in shade-number order. Two rolls cover an accent wall up to about 12 feet wide, such as the wall behind a bed, while all three cover a feature wall up to about 18 feet wide in a dining room, bedroom, or office. As with any grasscloth, unwrap and compare the rolls before cutting.

The random-match, reverse-hang installation has no pattern to line up, which keeps waste low. As with all natural grasscloth, subtle shading varies from strip to strip. The unpasted, pretrimmed sisal is strippable; clean it with a soft-brush vacuum, and avoid humid bathrooms. Thibaut, founded in 1886, is the oldest continuously operating wallpaper company in the United States.
