The seats feature a molded tubular metal frame with a finish reminiscent of bamboo knots, and colored synthetic cord weave (one in red/orange shade, the other in light beige). These chairs fully represent the modernist taste of the Italian economic boom, when innovative materials such as PVC and plastic ropes were used for furniture that was functional, durable, and yet decorative.
