This is a metal fruit harvest basket from France probably dating back to the mid 20th. century.
It's made of sturdy steel and sits solid and level on the floor. The metal caster feet do work but I'd avoid moving it too much. This piece would look great in on a porch or outdoor room. Perfect for firewood or winter blankets.
