Store Item: Baker Chinoiserie Black Chest of Drawers w Hand Painted Gilt Designs
Description: This outstanding chest of drawers features four long drawers in a rectangular case with black leather wrapped front and top, low-relief, gilt accented figural and mythical tableaus, to the top, sides and each drawer front, cast brass foliate mounts, locks, and pulls, and set on four squared legs. Has the Baker tag to top drawer.
Condition Report: Very Good Condition with some light wear, scuffs and scratches. Note, chest has faux crazing throughout which was part of the finish applied by Baker.
