The versatile table has a pleasant yellow … Read more A 1960's yellow-toned parson's-style consoled table by Jack Cartwright for Founders Furniture Company. The versatile table has a pleasant yellow speckled painted finished on its top and legs. The table was purchased from a Sarasota Florida estate. The table was crafted by Founders Furniture, a subsidiary of the Knoll Inc. in the 1940's. Founders focused on residential design for Knoll, which was largely developing the commercial furniture market. Jack Cartwright was the head of design in the 1950's until launching his own company in 1963. Founders was bought by Thomasville in the 1963. The Founder's table was found on the bottom of the table. The table is in good condition for its age and use. There are minor scruffs to the bottom of its legs. Dimensions: 17.25" D X 59" W X 28" H. See less
