Inspired by the nine Greek Muses, guardians of the arts and sciences, this lamp embodies the alliance between the rigor of the liberal arts. The stripes evoke the sailor's jersey, a symbol of French sartorial heritage. The gold, like gold thread embroidered on a precious fabric, symbolizes the divine light of the Muses and knowledge. The slender shape recalls the columns of Greek temples.
