Space Age Italian Modern Desk Chair In Green Velvet and Chromed Metal
Rare shaped office / desk chair embodies the bold aesthetic of Italian design from the 1970s. Designed and produced by Renato Zevi (proof. of attribution attached in the pictures),The sculptural seat and backrest are upholstered in the original green velvet fabric, whose vivid tone enhances the piece’s playful yet elegant character. The generous padding provides soft and comfort, while the organic form reflects the era’s experimental approach to seating design.
The chair rests on a tubular chrome-plated metal chromed frame, refined and polished to a high shine, adding both lightness and durability. Upholstery, filling and structure remain in excellent vintage condition, showing only minor signs of age consistent with careful use. This piece has an attribution mark,
