Gorgeous mid-century "light ball" wall or ceiling lamps in a charming ivory-colored enameled metal and opaline glass, designed by achille castiglioni for flos in italy in the 1960s. In fabulous condition, with no chips or cracks. This is the larger version of the luminous sphere designed by castiglioni (diameter 42 cm). The sinuous lines and extraordinary condition make this incredibly rare lamp a must-have for all lovers of midcentury modern. It is wired and tested, compatible with us and eu/uk standards, and uses a single e26/27 bulb. The lighting effect is simply spectacular. A stunning and versatile wall or ceiling lamp, perfect for completing a midcentury project. Dimensions (cm): diameter - 42 height - 32 this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
