The pedestal was created from a writhing, large tree limb. If this is the limb, one can only imagine how mighty and glorious the complete tree was! The tree root ball was sliced to create the pedestal platforms. Hypnotic grain and birdseye pattern can be seen in the figuring of this gold growth wood.
