Antique Persian Long Malayer Runner with All Over Geometric Design.
Colorful Floral Geometric Persian Malayer antique runner with all-over design, Keivan Woven Arts-rug SUS-2012-820, country of origin / type: Iran / Malayer, circa 1920. Antique Malayer Runner antique Malayer, antique Malayer runner
This antique Persian Malayer runner, circa early 20th century, relies heavily on exquisite details, as well as small-scale flowers and palmettes and a multi-medallion design. A fine trellis of beautifully colored flowers and geometric motifs sprawls across the blue-gray field, pulsating with alternating rhythms. The palmettes, flowers and serrated leaves imbue the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern. Colors include blue gray, ivory, red, light blue and salmon.
