This is a Williams Sonoma exclusive from 2012—a charming set of 12 ceramic place card holders designed by French artist Marc Lacaze. Each figurine represents one of the lines from "The Twelve Days of Christmas," the classic English Christmas carol and nursery rhyme. They range in size from around 1-1.75" wide and 1.5-3" tall. Paper placecards not included.
Each of the 12 days is represented by a single, unique figurine:
- First day: Partridge in a pear tree
- Second day: 2 turtledoves
- Third day: 3 French hens
- Fourth day: 4 calling birds
- Fifth day: 5 golden rings
- Sixth day: 6 geese a-laying
- Seventh day: 7 swans a-swimming
- Eighth day: 8 maids a-milking
- Ninth day: 9 ladies dancing
- Tenth day: 10 lords a-leaping
- Eleventh day: 11 pipers piping
- Twelfth day: 12 drummers drumming
