It shows a wealth of information as well as raised relief to indicate where the mountains are. The Chief Cartographer is LeRoy M. Tolman and was made in the US. There are a couple of scuff marks on the vertical part of the base, and a 1/4" thin scratch on the edge of the base. Both marks are a little difficult to see due to the globe's angle over the base.
