Iconic teal, blue, and green ceramic ashtray designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. The square ashtray is "Italy" is handwritten on the underside - the typical Bitossi mark. The brilliant colors seem to be inspired by the Mediterranean sea. The vintage 1950s ashtray is in excellent original condition with no breaks. Sourced in Leiden, Netherlands. 15cm Square x 3cm High This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
