This 2001 Modernist clay sculpture is by Viennese/ Southern California artist Dave Fox (1920-2011). Fox received his BFA, MA and MFA from California State University, Fullerton. He was inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of Los Angeles and his work is in the permanent collections of the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museum of Art.
Signed and dated on the base. Excellent vintage condition.
