A fine vintage signed gold & multi-gemstone brooch.

In textured 18 karat yellow gold.
In a stylized 4-petaled floral form with bezel-set peridot, tourmaline, and aquamarine gemstones.
Secured with a pin and safety catch. (Set as well as two integral bails for use as a pendant).
Fully marked to the reverse.
Together with its original Ed Weiner store sleeve.
Ed Wiener was one of the most important jewelry designers in post-war New York City. His form language contributed greatly to the vocabulary of 20th Century jewelry design, and his work is held in both major museums & important private collections.
Simply a wonderful Ed Wiener convertible brooch / pendant!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
It appears to have been wheel polished except to the very center. There appear to be some fractures and flaws in the gemstones. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
