The design and pattern indicates it is from the … Read more Beautiful and substantial American brilliant cut crystal water pitcher. Very elegant!! The design and pattern indicates it is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The patterns are extremely complex and intricate with very deep, clean, crisp cuts. The designs include overlapping straight cuts, pinwheels, cross hatching, and multiple overlapping stars. It has a notched rim, thumb print handle and large star cut into the base. In the sunlight this pitcher sparkles with rainbow colors. It is in wonderful condition. No chips, cracks or fogging noted. On the table, this crystal water pitcher conveys a statement of fine taste! A work of art in crystal that will be enjoyed for years and worthy of handing down to future generations. I inherited the pitcher from my Mother, but alas, I now find I must sell it to someone who will enjoy and respect it. See less
