Custom, bespoke washstand, low cabinet with towel warming drawer, matching shower fixtures and faucet. Everything you see in the pictures and as described below is included.
Vanity and low cabinet are beautifully figured black walnut with ebonized chevron and gadroon inlay detail. The vanity drawer fronts are scalloped giving a subtle bamboo effect. The cabinet pulls are satin gold with beaded detail and the vanity has a matching satin gold towel bar on one side and toilet paper holder on the other. Both countertops are stromatolite, a layered fossilized material formed over billions of years, making it the earth's oldest form of fossil. A 1/4" veneer of book-matched stromatolite is applied over a 1 1/4" thick travertine substrate giving an extraordinary dimensional effect. The low cabinet has a pull out laundry drawer and beside it, a stainless steel towel warming/drying pullout drawer for warm dry towels every time!
The faucet and shower set are truly one of a kind fittings designed around Grohe valves. The trim plates, handles etc. are constructed of thick and heavy solid brass, the shower trim plate alone weighs 4lbs! The handles move with a smooth, solid precision. Included in the shower set are (3) 3/4" Grohe thermostatic valves with trim, (3) 3/4" volume controls with trim; (1) 3-way diverter valve with trim; (2) shower arms with Speakman heads; (1 each) handshower, hose, outlet and holder; (4) body sprays.
In our many years in the deconstruction business this may be the most unique and beautifully conceived and constructed contemporary bath ensemble we have come across.
Vanity: 55 1/2"w x 25"d x 33 1/2"h
Low cabinet: 52"w x 20"d x 33" h. The towel warmer drawer protrudes 2" from the back of the cabinet so it will need to be recessed into the wall. The cabinet completely covers the cutout.
Reclaimed, excellent condition.
