The ruffled pattern on the glass shade adds to the charm of this piece, which was manufactured in the United States during the late 19th century. Made of brass and glass, this oil lamp and shade set is a valuable addition to any collection of antique lighting fixtures. The turn knob is marked Hinks no 2 lever this lever is how you turn the lamp on and off the font has been drilled so unless you can plug it you can't use it as oil, very good working condition, please note there 2 small dents in brass font hard to see also the shade fitter is a little small but its sits ok in the bracket new wiring, socket and plug measuring about 26" tall x 10" x 8". The clear glass chimney is not included it just showing how it would look with one also an easy find on eBay. See less
