Maddox Tables, in … Read more This dresser is a beautiful example of exquisite craftsmanship by the Maddox Tables company in Jamestown, NY. Maddox Tables, in business from 1898 to 1985, was known for their quality furniture, colonial reproductions and use of mahogany wood. This small dresser has hand painted scenes on black painted veneer with gold trim, brass finish handles and a leather inlay on top, stenciled with a golden scroll. The four-drawer, serpentine front dresser has great bones and is very sturdy. This well-loved piece has had minor paint touch ups, but overall in very good condition.
