Each chair features a sculpted hardwood frame with subtly flared backs and gently curved front legs, combining classical allusion with modern restraint. Upholstered in deep aubergine mohair with silk piped edges and button details, the chairs balance luxury and clarity in equal measure.

Commissioned in homage to the great French designers of the 1940s and 1950s, these custom chairs embody the same spirit of refinement seen in the work of André Arbus, Jules Leleu, and Jacques Adnet—yet with a unique character and scale all their own. The mohair retains its depth and luster, with natural variations in the nap visible across several chairs, consistent with the textile’s inherent qualities.
