All made of white porcelain with hand painted flowers decorated with gold. The decoration is very much of the art Nouveau style influence.

Each of the cups has the lithophane of a geisha on the bottom revealed when the light shines through.

This beautiful set was made mid century probably in the Nagoya area of Japan for the export market, hence the 'Made in Japan' stamp.
Kobe production was 1918 by Nagata Seji and continued production after WWII. This piece has an attribution mark,
