Magnificent design and a remarkable example of mid-century modern furniture, featuring wood and beige faux leather. The shape of these chairs is not only beautiful, but also ensures comfortable seating. The artificial leather is still in very good condition, with no damage, and the seats are very sturdy. Both seats have an original sticker with the ‘Simpla-Lux’ logo.

Simpla-Lux was a Dutch furniture manufacturer, founded in the early 20th century, known for its modern, functional designs that were often associated with the minimalist design of the 1950/60s.
The company flourished during the post-war period, producing modular, minimalist furniture inspired by Bauhaus and Scandinavian styles.
At its peak in the 1960/70s, Simpla-Lux exported across Europe. However, changing consumer tastes and growing competition led to its decline in the 1980s. The company eventually ceased operations, but its vintage designs remain sought after by collectors today.
