Large, fixed under glass, allegorical representation of Africa through the portrait of a Black woman, richly adorned with jewelry and a turban on her head.
Giltwood frame (possibly Naples) in Mecca style (this Italian technique involves applying a gilded varnish to a support covered with silver leaf, which is less expensive than gold leaf; the resulting effect is a warm and luminous gold).
Some wear from use, the glass is not broken.
