the lamp was designed by nils kähler and made circa 1960s.
the neck is dark brown and has a smooth polished surface which is contrasted by the base covered with a glossy turquoise glaze showing an embossed herringbone pattern.

on bottom the lamp base is handsigned with "hak" and nils (for nils kähler) and stamped with "made in denmark". It still wears the original kähler paper sticker.

included is a new lamp shade designed in denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is natural white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
