This is a high end and rare large size Lorenz Hutschenreuther nude statue from Carl Werner's sculpture of one of his favorite German models. What makes this bisque porcelain statuette so premium is its quality and meticulous attention to detail. This piece is truer to the female bodily form than most others in its class. This can be evidenced visually by looking at leg and arm forms, muscles, thighs, calves, ankles, ribcage, waist, breasts, neck, buttocks, hands, feet, face and hair. You can see every cellulite bump, the soft contour of her smiling lips, each toe and long realistic fingers.

The condition is very good to excellent. There are no breaks, chips, splits and no repairs. The surface of the bisque porcelain is even colored and smooth throughout the piece.

This is being sold from a current private art collection- not an estate sale. It was well maintained and protected while under current ownership.
