The original limestone fragment is from a larger relief on one of the walls of Sennacherib's Palace at Nineveh. The cast stone copy is produced in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Reproduction Studio. The master mold was taken from the original relief. Each piece is patinated by hand to approximate the texture and color of the original." See less
