Pao table light by Matteo Thun for Arteluce, 1993. Matteo Thun’s work is driven by the search for sophistication and subtle irony, which makes him something of a design dandy.When it comes to lighting, his solutions often reveal genuine technical or formal virtuosity. Pao light is a variation on the table-light theme in which, apart from the strange UFO-shaped diffuser,the main features are the mellow structural materials: Frosted pressed-glass base Black lacquered wood stem Frosted glass diffuser This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
