An exceptional pair of vintage Danish chests by Kai Winding, made in Denmark and dating from the 1960’s.
This is an exceedingly rare model, it is hard enough to find just one, let alone two. The quality is outstanding, they are beautifully crafted from solid and veneered wood which has gorgeous colours and grain patterns. They have a very useful design, they are a great size with lots of storage space. The drawers all run smoothly and have lovely recessed handles, they stand on sturdy plinth bases with nicely shaped bracket feet.
We have had them stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout. The Danish quality control labels can be seen on the backs.
