We loved it as both! The beautiful burled mahogany provides richness while the marble top gives depth and brightness. The mirrored lower section enlarges the view of any space you place it. Full width single drawer allows for storage of valuable items.

Nineteenth century French Empire marble topped console table, circa 1830. Amboyna columns fitted with brass engraved bands of Anthemion and lotus leaves, anchored by collared paw feet. 39.75”h x 48 1/2" w x 23”d
Purchased from antiques dealer Lee Calicchio NYC, it is in excellent condition and has had a single owner since 2005.
