Antique Persian Sultanabad rug with all-over Paisley Design. Keivan Woven Arts / rug 19-0501, country of origin / type: Iran / Sultanabad Mahal, circa 1900
Measures: 10'3 x 15'2
This Charming and unique antique Sultanabad displays a field of blue and charcoal colors, decorated by all over paisley design. The entire background is framed by rust red color border with interconnected sub geometric and florals in various colors such as light green, light blue, ivory and coral colors. two small guard borders on both sides of the main border consist of geometric motifs. This rug had maintain its colors and is well balanced in design and colorations.
