Angelo lelii, naborre corno wall sconces "tortiglioni" for arredoluce, 1961
a wonderful and very rare pair of large wall lamps, designed for angelo lelii and manufactured by arredoluce, the company founded by lelii in 1943.
these wall lamps were designed in collaboration with naborre corno in approximately 1961 and manufactured by arredoluce in the years immediately following.
these lamps are very rare in this form and with this wall bracket.
one of the wall sconces is still with original label.( see picture)
the structure is made of polished solid brass and the glass shades are made of duplex white opal glass.
the sconces (brass) have been completely polished and replaced the cables with new ones.
the wall lamps are now in perfect working condition and can be connected directly to the wall (usa 110v - eu 220v). Each wall sconce works with 2 light bulbs ( e26 or e27)
we have pictures available from the sconces before the refurbish. This piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
