The lamp was produced during the following decade by Santa & Cole and Taller Uno. The lamp highlights Sans's ingenious and simplified designs, which are also functional and refined in form and materials. The lightweight 'Lamparaprima' is composed of a thin stainless steel metal structure with wooden sockets that hold a soffit bulb. It is designed as a table or wall lamp.
Pete Sans is a self-taught Catalan designer who defines himself as an industrial sculptor and object designer. Thanks to the 'Lamparaprima', Sans received several awards (at e Oscar de iluminación in 1979 and at the Moving Fair in Paris in 1983), as well as many of his other designs.
The lamp is in very good condition.
The dimensions are 18 cm high, 24 cm wide, and 12 cm deep.
