This 2010 linoleum block print on paper is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). This piece is based on an early 20th Century photo of Schiele (one of Delamater's most loved figures in Modern art history) re-imagining him as Warhol-era star. Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world as well as the human figure and other representations from his city life.
