(image) Our work “Ruines Circulaires” (Circular Ruins) illustrates the short story by Jorge-Luis Borges, in which a man attempts to dream another being into existence. The composition evokes the passage of time, with a tree wrapping itself around the ruin, like a symbol of nature reclaiming its rights. The palette of blues and browns, with its soft, misty tones, reinforces the impression of mystery and a dreamlike world outside time.
