A set of six very exclusive and unusual rosewood chairs designed by Erling Torvits for Sorø Stolefabrik, Denmark.
Notice the absolutely gorgeous details/craftsmanship on the chairs. You can hardly get enough of them!
Characteristically sculpted legs where the hind legs rise to form the back. Comfort is excellent with straight lines in the seat profile and both front and back legs taper downwards. The legs are connected for best stability.
The back part has horizontal slats that are oval and with a slightly cupped shape, which gives great comfort and character.
The seat is screwed into the frame and enhances the stability of the chair. The seat also has a generous size that is padded with new cold foam with high support and covered in black leather from Tärnsjö Garveri.
Certificate of citation included.
45-78 cm high and 49 cm wide.
In very good condition with very few traces of use and new padding and upholstery. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
