Set of three witty and whimsical animal shaped candle holders in the Mexican painted ceramic folk art tradition. They are the perfect splash of color for a bohemian decor. The set includes a frog, a zebra and a big-horned sheep. The tiny birds along for the ride are the cutest part...they definitely have the best seat in the house! The candle holder cups require small tapers and will not fit a standard size. Marked Mexico and most likely from the mid 20th Century.
Good condition with some signs of age, wear and use including some paint loss though nothing objectionable.
