The Tamburo lamp, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Flos in 1973, is a beautiful example of their progressive design vision. This compact design is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and combines functionality with Italian elegance.
The cylindrical design — named after the Italian word for “ drum ” — is crafted from enameled aluminum and features glass diffusers that distribute the light softly and evenly.
Unlike the larger floor lamp versions, this smaller version emphasises the versatility of the design: ideal on a side table, sideboard or as a floor lamp, also suitable for covered outdoor areas.
