Obsessed by the light and the transformations produced on the surfaces, these relief paintings are vibrant, highly textured and have a sculptural impact which creates a powerful visual effect. The texture technique, which I developed myself, incorporates natural elements such as, minerals, paper, stones, wood with gesso, adhesive and pigments. Each painting contains many layers of textures and pigments which in turn are enhanced with oil paint.
The gold ‘Monochrome’ series make reference to the Yves Klein ‘Monogolds’. For him, gold represents materiality as a source of light, endowed with a principle of animation, life. Gold is the "living matter" which ensures the passage from the visible to the invisible. The ‘Monogolds’ go beyond the domain of the sensible to penetrate the more complex domain of artistic alchemy. Matter of exchange, transmutation and desire for the absolute, gold represents the artistic qualities that transfigure an object into a work of art. Gold, says Klein, "permeates the painting and gives it eternal life." It is the material that leads to the immaterial.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations
