Eight scallop shell bowls in classic whiteware ceramic. There are no legible marks, but the quality of the porcelain and unique design lead me to believe that they are products of Charles Pillevuyt et Cie, France - which continues to make an identical trademarked design. These bowls are perfect for nuts, snacks, sauces, ice cream, soap, et c. They can and have been used as bakeware. As indicated these dishes are unmarked. There is a raised stamp which we cannot make out, but it does not show up on photos.
