PALM BEACH ESTATE TREASURE! Peruvian artist Hilario Mendivil Velasco (1927-1977) is world famous for his paintings and sculptures of religious figures and saints and is one of Perus most important native artists. We are presenting this stunning group of Three Wise Men vintage Nativity Figures. They are made from a combination of painted paper maché and plaster. Each measures approximately 12” tall. Each is unique and represent Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar, each riding a different animal and carrying a unique gift for the baby Jesus. A similar example of the trio can be found in the Weltmuseum in Vienna.
