Iconic floor lamp ‘Fishing Pole’, designed by Svend Aage Holm Sorensen for Sorensen & Co, made in Denmark, 1950s.
The name of the floor lamp refers to the fishing line with the catch on it.
Sørensen designed these lamps as minimalist as possible.
Although they are lightweight, the foot in cast iron provides excellent stability.
The lampshade made of cellulose acetate, seems to float, especially in the dark.
The arm is made of solid teak with brass details on the stem.
A beautiful piece of craftsmanship that immediately catches the eye and fits into any interior!
