Executed in 1964, the work depicts two boys caught in a vigorous tussle, their intertwined bodies rendered in a raw, expressive manner. The textured surface emphasizes movement and physicality, while the compact form captures both the struggle and playfulness of childhood scuffles. The artist’s signature is inscribed on the underside of the children’s feet, as shown in the photos.
